OUR STORY

It all began in July 2023 with a swipe right — and an instant spark. From our very first conversation, it felt easy, natural, and exciting.Our first date at J9 Wine Bar in Chicago almost didn’t happen thanks to a tornado warning, but we braved the weather (and the nerves) and are so glad we did. That night marked the beginning of something truly special.By our second date, it was clear Adam was all in. He drove to Wisconsin to rescue me from a less-than-ideal camping trip, and we ended up walking through Milwaukee, swapping stories about our goals and dreams as the sounds of the Harley Davidson festival buzzed in the background.As the months passed, our connection only deepened. We discovered a shared love for exploring new spots around the city, staying active, and spending quality time with animals — especially our favorite four-legged sidekick, Louie (aka Mr. Lou, or Louis as my dad likes to call him). With every adventure and quiet moment, we laughed more, supported each other endlessly, and quickly became not just a couple, but best friends.In July 2024, we moved in together in Chicago, marking another big step in our journey. And in January 2025, while on a sunny vacation in Jamaica, Adam asked me to marry him — and I said yes!We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.

I remember the day I first met Lauren like it was yesterday. There was a tornado that ripped through Chicago an hour before we met. I walk into J9 wine bar and get this angry glare. My first thought was “Oh my god looks like this won’t go well”. I sit down we both say hello, and she asks to go to the bathroom.Knowing how she is now, that should be expected when you go out with her. At the time I was a bit worried, but the thought of those cute blue eyes kept me optimistic. She sits down and we start talking and 2 hours later we are still having the greatest conversation. The bar ends up closing, but we did not want to go home. I was willing to be out all night with her and I did not care if it was a Wednesday night.We end up leaving the bar. We are on the corner of Halsted and Armitage, and we are just staring at each other. I remember thinking “my god you are gorgeous” and I am also thinking “dang it’s a good thing I put my cologne on because I am sweaty”. Next thing you know we had our first kiss.That’s when I knew I wanted to be with her forever. An hour later we got kicked out of a bar because we were “overserved”

The best way to make any modifications to your reservation before the promocode deadline is by calling the Call Center. Confirm over the phone the promocode LAWNOV26FPM is still applied to your reservation. Travel

AIRPORT

When booking your flights, you should plan to fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). The resort is approximately 30 minutes north of the airport. Please book the flight that works best with your schedule. We highly encourage guests to arrive no later than November 5, 2026 to join in on all the wedding events. The wedding ceremony is on November 6, 2026.

TRANSPORTATION

Private transportation to and from the airport is complimentary when you book a minimum of 3 nights with our promocode. The transportation company, Seasons Tours, is the resort’s in-house transportation company. Seasons will provide 1 complimentary transfer per room reservation. Because there can be flight changes, it is recommended to schedule your transfer no earlier than 1 month from your arrival but it is required no later than 1 week before your arrival. You will need a valid passport to travel to Cancun, Mexico. The resort will also ask for your passport when you check in for your stay.

DO I HAVE TO STAY AT FINEST RESORT?Because the resort is highly secured, those who do not have room reservations are not allowed on the premises. CAN I BOOK THE MEMBER'S RATE OR THE NON-REFUNDABLE RATE?Unfortunately NO. In order to be considered part of the wedding group and be able to attend every wedding event, every guest must book the GROUPS RATE with our promocode LAWNOV26FPM. It does not require a deposit to book, it will include free cancellation up until 24 hours from arrival and also free transportation to/from the airport. WHAT DOES ALL-INCLUSIVE MEAN?All meals, snacks and drinks (including alcohol), are included and unlimited! There are 12 restaurants, a food truck, several bars and lounges and 24-hour room service. There's also plenty of activities for adults and kids at no extra charge! DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ROOMS?There are 3 different suite levels: Finest suites, Finest Club suites, and Excellence Club suites. Different club levels provide access to additional resort areas that you will not be able to access without the accompanying club level. Adam &amp; Lauren plan to stay in an Excellence Club level room. During check-in, the resort will ask if you have any dietary restrictions as well and tie this information to your room number. This is to make sure you have a comfortable stay! IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?The dress code for our wedding is beach semi-formal. WHAT IS THE RESORT DRESS CODE?All restaurants at Finest require a certain dress code. Please visit the resort website or click <a href="https://www.finestresorts.com/cancun/finest-playa-mujeres/flavor-and-spirits/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">HERE</a> to see the different type of dress code required at each restaurant. In short, men must wear shirts with sleeves or collars at every restaurant. Some restaurants require pants for men. Some restaurants do not allow casual sandals for either men nor women. Please pack accordingly to be able to enjoy every restaurant on the property. WHAT SHOULD I PACK?Your outfit for the wedding (Please see above), your outfit for the welcome event, swimwear, sunscreen, bug spray, medicine, etc. Although the resort is all-inclusive, we recommend to bring $1 &amp; $5 USD bills to tip the staff you believe is doing an outstanding job. Tips are never expected but certainly appreciated by the staff. WHAT ACTIVITIES DOES THE RESORT OFFER?The resort offers many things to do. Please look at the THINGS TO DO tab at the top of our website. ANY OFFSITE EXCURSIONS?There are so many activities at the resort that are already included with your stay but if you wish to explore Cancun or the surrounding areas, please visit the THINGS TO DO tab at the top of our website to see popular excursions. IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR THE SPA?Yes, the same promo code you used to book your reservation gets you 10% off but you are also more than welcome to check their monthly Spa offer on the Finest website right before your trip as many times they offer bigger discounts. WILL THE CEREMONY BE UNPLUGGED?YES! We ask that you please put your devices away for the ceremony as it will be professionally captured. Please remain "in the moment" with us. Seasons Tours is the in-house preferred vendor for excursions for Finest. They have a desk area on the first floor of the lobby at Finest that you can visit to set up any excursions while at the resort or you can email them ahead of time to set up any excursions.• The&nbsp;Playa Mujeres Golf Club&nbsp;is located next to our resort. You can arrange to play through the concierge desk or schedule to play before your arrival.• Visit&nbsp;Isla Mujeres, a small tropical island a boat ride away. You can take a nearby ferry to and from the island. This is a perfect half-day or full-day visit to their beautiful waters, beaches and restaurants.
